Dear
Students and Parents,
Welcome
to All Saints’ Episcopal School for the 2008-2009 school
year. After spending the past several months preparing for
this year, we are excited about our program and what we have
to offer you. We hope you will share this excitement with us.
All
Saints' Episcopal Preschool has earned a three-star rating as
a state licensed learning center. The Preschool teachers take
pride in preparing children for successful learning
experiences, with the main focus being upon the social and
emotional development of the child. Our preschool students
will learn through games, songs, play and developmentally
appropriate academic activities.
Our
full-time state-certified faculty members in Kindergarten
through Grade 8 will continue a program of curriculum mapping.
This mapping will help us to communicate the content, skills
and assessment strategies of our core curriculum to our
parents.
Our
entire curriculum emphasizes a logical and sequential format.
We aim to achieve a true individualized focus on learning
while, at the same time, encouraging team-building skills
through the use of an integrated curriculum. We will strive to
meet the academic needs of each student while we nurture and
reinforce a lifelong desire for learning.
As
we open a new era in the All Saints' Episcopal School history,
we ask you to join with us in providing our students with the
best educational opportunities possible.
Sincerely,
Dr. Henry Selby
Headmaster
