know how much the vision of others would impact our children.
Three years later, as the new location of the school was finished and students moved into a new state of the art facility, the second phase of fundraising, "Building on Good Ground" was necessary to continue making the payments on our bond issue.  Being very pleased with the school and understanding now more than ever the benefits that All Saints' offered to our children, we made a five year pledge to the school campaign.
Now, five years later with two children in middle school, we are faced with yet another capital campaign,

but this time, it is a "no brainer" for us.  We have seen the benefit that All Saints' has given to our children.  We appreciate the Christian environment that our children are fortunate enough to be in each day.    We are all indebted to those who came before us and built this wonderful school for our children.  It was a struggle for them to donate their money and time to build for the future just as it is a struggle for most of us today to consider a pledge to this campaign.   But, participation is the key to our success.  If each family, church member, staff, alumni, past parent and grandparent would par

ticipate at some level, we would have enough resources to meet our goals.  If everyone  would step out in faith, we could continue the growth that is so important to us and to our community.
Our family has supported the past campaigns because we felt it was and still is the right thing to do.   I hope you will join us by participating in this "Cultivating Our Vision" campaign.   It will be exciting to come together as a school family and celebrate our success.  Step up to the challenge.  Make a difference.  Continue the legacy of All Saints' Episcopal School.

From Steve Cash, Head of School

There are very few things in life that are more important than our children's education.  This goes far beyond the "3 R's" that were emphasized in the childhood of many current adults.  Education in school today includes a wide range of important life lessons.  In the words of British Philosopher Herbert Spencer, "Education has for its object the formation of character."
Through the "Cultivating Our Vi

sion" capital campaign, all of our families and others in the community have the opportunity to help form the character of many children.  It is difficult to express enough how important everyone's participation is to financially secure the future of the school and allow for program growth.  Your support of the campaign will, without a doubt, make a difference in the lives of hundreds of children in the years to come.

As Sir Winston Churchill once said, "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."  It is time for us to help shape future lives.  If you have any questions about your role in the "Cultivating Our Vision" campaign, please do not hesitate contacting any of the campaign steering committee members listed in this newsletter.

The All Saints' Episcopal School of today reflects the hard work and dedication of many over the last 40 years. As we enter the next chapter of the school's history, we ask you to join us in the "Cultivating Our Vision" campaign. I am confident that the principles and ideas that have guided ASES in the past will be cultivated by the school community as new generations of students look to All Saints' Episcopal School for guidance, inspiration, education, and leadership.

Those of you who are current parents have watched the banners go up announcing the "Cultivating Our Vision" campaign. We want everyone to understand where ASES has been and where we are going. This is the reason behind the parent socials you have heard so much about. The socials were held February 9 through February 18. These were meant to educate, meet new friends, and to offer a greater sense of unity within the school community. We would like to thank the families that have offered their homes for these socials,

and the co-hosts for their support. Also, thank you to those of you who attended a social.
Other events are upcoming for our alumni and past parents as well as staff, All Saints' Episcopal Church parishioners, our grandparents, and benefactors. Each of these groups will be contacted about their special event, but please note the dates listed below.
Please do not miss out. Mark you calendars for the following dates:
