PTSO:

Please remember to send in your PTSO membership by September 30th, PTSO will provide a pizza lunch for EVERY class with 100% participation.

Also, please turn in your HOT DOG Day forms by tomorrow September 22, to ensure your child doesn’t miss out on the delicious meal.  It’s one less day that you have to pack lunches!

It is Innisbrook time again!!!  Packets went out last week and will need to be handed into teachers by October 5th, 2009.  This is a great fundraiser for the PTSO and the school keeps 50% of the profits!!!!!!!  The funds we raise will pay for school supplies, sports equipment and other needs of our wonderful school.  Extended family may lace orders online with the EZ instructions in the packets.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ann Harville at 423-748-4359.

A special thanks to:

From the 1st Grade:

The Buddy Reading Club between the first and eighth grade students has started for the new school year.  The eighth graders visit the first graders every Friday and listen to their buddy read.  The eighth graders encourage fluency and confidence in the child’s reading.

From the technology department:

We have had a major problem with the Parent In Touch Program and we are going to send home grades for the first marking period on a hard copy in your childs’ backpack until we know which method we are going to pursue.  More information to follow in the future.
