Also, please remember these dates for receiving discounts and reductions:

12 month payment plan - 4/12/2010

Annual payment plan with a 5% discount - 4/12/2010

Please tell your friends and neighbors about All Saints' Episcopal School. We would love to take them on a tour and tell them about our awesome school!

Reminder to parents:  as you heard, in family chapel, all offerings from chapel will be sent for Haitian relief until the end of this school year.  If you wish to make additional donations you may place cash in an envelope and mark it "ERD Haiti"; make checks payable to ERD and write "Haiti" on the memo line.  Sandi Elfast in the business office will see that these donations are mailed to our relief organization (Episcopal Relief and Development).

Library News

Thank you to those who have sent in their check for $15 to support our Library Birthday Program!  The books have been wonderful additions to our school library and the children have really enjoyed having the book presented in their honor at Chapel.  Remember, all you have to do is write a check for $15 approximately one month before your child’s birthday and Mrs. Spain will purchase a new book that is currently needed in the library in your child’s honor.

Thank you to the PTSO who donated $50 to the Library for new books!  We are happy to have some exciting new titles coming soon!

PTSO:

Calling ALL parents:  Have you looked around at the fun activities hosted by PTSO and thought ,”Wow!, I’d like to be a part of that!” or maybe you have been considering ways to become more involved in the school. PTSO is looking for a few good parents to serve as PTSO board members or Parent Reps for the 2010-2011 school year. If you feel called in this direction, please contact Anne Sheedlo at 587-8643, e-mail: sheeds134@bellsouth. net or Renee Siddiqi at 277-6972, e-mail: reneesiddiqi@gmail.com.

Please start gathering up all of your box tops that you have been saving. PTSO will be having a huge drive after Spring Break and will be collecting them. These box tops help support our art program!

If you can help proctor for TCAPS, please let Nikki know in the front office or call 423-586-3280.

Introducing the new “Children’s Corner”:

This week we would like to introduce a new section to the newsletter.  It will feature news about children from our ASES family.  This week we would like to feature Felicity Fulcher for her outstanding accomplishment of “Winning the Gold Medal” in the girls 5-6 year olds in the NASTAR National Division of Skiing.  It is the largest ski organization in the U.S.  We would also like to feature Celeste Sexton in her hair cutting bravery for “Locks of Love” an outstanding organization that helps people of all ages that have serious illnesses.  I think it is important to share information of this capacity to all our readers.  If your son(s) or daughter(s) have an outstanding achievement you would like us to feature, email me at ktorres.ases@charter.net and include “Children’s Corner” in the subject line of the email.  We will pick a few every week to include in the newsletter.

Golf Tournament Info:

Parents,

Each family should have received a packet of information the week prior to spring break regarding the golf tournament.  (Permission slips are attached to the newsletter email).  The 15th Annual Masters Golf Tournament is scheduled for April 16th at 1.00 at Millstone Golf Club.  This is the afternoon following the FunWalk!  Please return the volunteer sheet or golf team sheet and/or sponsor form to the office as soon as possible as banners have to be printed and teams have to be organized.  If your child did not get home with a packet, there are extras in the office with Nikki Wills.  The golf tournament is our longest running fundraiser for the school and is essential to this year's operating budget, so please volunteer to help.  Please contact any of the following parents if you have questions.   Thanks so much to the golf committee....

Lindy Potter, Bob Vick, Paula Gibson, Randy Harville, Scott Kanipe, Sam and Amy Neill, Tina Murrow, Renee Siddiqi and Kathy Haun!!
