Advent Time in Morristown:

Our own Dr. Selby will be preaching at the 8:00 and the 10:30 services on the fourth Sunday of Advent (Sunday, Dec. 20) at All Saints' Episcopal Church.  "The Fulfillment of What Was Spoken" is a message that you and your children won't want to miss.  Hope to see you there!

Christmas Eve

4:00 p.m.  The Blessing of the Creche and Holy Eucharist (especially for young children:  very young children are invited to bring a stuffed animal to this service.  These "shepherds" will bring their animals to the altar and place them temporarily around the Christ Child for a blessing.  Each child will be given a "halo" at the door and become an "angel" for the service.)

8:00 p.m.  Holy Eucharist, Rite II (no incense)

10:30 p.m.  Congregational Carols and Special Music

11:00 p.m.  Festal Eucharist

PTSO News:

PTSO is THRILLED to announce that the ASES float won 1st place in the Morristown Annual Christmas parade! This was truly a collaborative effort and we are thankful to each and every person who contributed in any way. Thank you to the children, parents and teachers who rode on the float and walked in the parade. Special thanks to our very own “Willy Wonka”, Mr. Claborn and to Veit Kohler for portraying a very authentic Charlie. Thank you to Amy Steisslinger for painting columns and creating the Oompa Loompa costumes. Thank you to Coach Mike who transported the columns, Kelley Korody supplied the boom box, Dr. Selby burned the CD and Mr. Dale supplied the extension cords.  Thank you to Ms. Dot for all of the art supplies and the use of the art room, thank you to Antje Kohler, Lindy Potter, and Tina Murrow for their help in constructing the float on the day of the parade, thank you to Ray Turley for assisting with the float construction, hooking up the trailer, driving the float to the parade site and helping us get it to the warehouse as well as getting the trailer to Morristown, thank you to Beth Boniface for supplying the truck and driving the float in the parade, thank you to Vifan and the Diluzio family for supplying the cylinders, the McGarel family for the heavy duty Mylar, Eddy Chevrolet in Rutledge for supplying the trailer, the Misenheimer Family for the use of  their garage for float construction and Doug Knight for use of his warehouse for float storage. Another Thank You goes out to Cindi Husk, who helped with the cookies and hot chocolate after the parade.  A VERY special thanks to Kristie Huffman-Drybread for taking a simple concept and turning it into a winning design. This simply would not have been possible without her creative vision and talent!!   PTSO will be providing ice cream for the entire school on Friday, Dec.11th as a thank you to our students!  With sincere thanks, Anne Sheedlo, Reneé Siddiqi and Joy Turley
