News from the Coaches corner:

The jump rope marathon raised $2,813.66 for the American Heart Association, thank you to all who participated in this blessed event.

On December 5/6^th Andy Potter and Colin Yarid along with several other former students were part of the Lakeway Legacy team that won the Nike Cup Tournament in Atlanta Georgia.  Congratulations to them on this great achievement!!

Literary Review Lunch Bunch

The middle school students met Friday and discussed the nonfiction books they had read for their book reports.  Yummy cupcakes were served for dessert.  Congratulations to Danielle Turley for winning a book and to Chad Gregory & Colin Yarid for winning the door prizes!  Our next meeting will be on Friday, February 12.

Advent Time in Morristown:

Our own Dr. Selby will be preaching at the 8:00 and the 10:30 services on the fourth Sunday of Advent (Sunday, Dec. 20) at All Saints' Episcopal Church.  "The Fulfillment of What Was Spoken" is a message that you and your children won't want to miss.  Hope to see you there!

Christmas Eve

4:00 p.m.  The Blessing of the Creche and Holy Eucharist (especially for young children:  very young children are invited to bring a stuffed animal to this service.  These "shepherds" will bring their animals to the altar and place them temporarily around the Christ Child for a blessing.  Each child will be given a "halo" at the door and become an "angel" for the service.)

8:00 p.m.  Holy Eucharist, Rite II (no incense)

10:30 p.m.  Congregational Carols and Special Music
